A Great Way To Use
Sports Premium Funding
Make The Most Out Of Your Sports Premium Funding
At CreActive we understand that the children's physical and mental well-being is important to schools which is why we don't just teach the physical skills to a sport. We supply workshops that also give the children life skills and techniques to tackle other physical and mental tasks they may face throughout their life's, whilst teaching techniques and providing information on how they can improve their physical and mental well-being. We also include multiple activities in our workshops allowing you to make the most of your Sports Premium Funding. CreActive supplies urban activities such as, Breakdancing, Beatboxing Football Freestyle and Parkour/acrobatics.
How Our Workshops Meet The Sports Premium Funding's Key Indicators
Increased Confidence
We give students the opportunity to show back what they have learnt in their workshop. We do this in the workshop and in our show back assembly at the end of the day. We have found students who don't usually take part in showing in front of others really take to these activities and want to show what they have learnt.
P.E & Sport Raised
As every child is not interested in popular sports such as football, rugby or tennis, We give them the opportunity to explore urban sports such as breakdancing, freestyle football and parkour. This has shown to increase the interest and knowledge in sport through our workshop's to students who usually would'nt be as interested in P.E and sport.
Engagement
In our Workshop we use positive call backs in our 'believe in yourself' section to not only promote self belief but keep students enagaged with expressive tasks. We also consistantly use 'question and answer' on the information inbetween teaching our Urban Activities skills to ensure full enagemnet.
Broarder Experience
By introducing a new range of sports & activities it is giving students a broader experience of activities they can try. With Breakdancing also now involved in the 2024 paris olympics they will begin to have more eposure to urban activities and want to try them.
Increased Participation
We beleive its vital for children to take part in sports & activities which is why we include information in our workshops such as beliveing in yourself, team work and equality exercises to encourage participation as we feel this is something stopping most students participating.
